Union Lesson Studios is a music school located at 11 Bow Street in Somerville, MA, that offers fun and effective music lessons for kids or adults of all levels. Our instructors are professional musicians who are skilled and patient, and can teach nearly any style of music. With our brand new facility located conveniently in Union Square, we are the perfect choice for anyone who wants to learn guitar, voice, piano, bass, drums, saxophone, clarinet, or flute in the Somerville and Cambridge area.

Music lessons during COVID-19.
We're currently offering both online and in-person lessons on Drums, Piano, and Guitar. All other instruments (including wind instruments and voice) are only available online until further notice. Union Lesson Studios is committed to avoiding the spread of COVID-19. Here are some of the precautions we're taking:
-Lessons are by appointment only. This helps minimize the number of people in the building at the same time, and allows us to keep an accurate log for contact tracing.
-Face masks are required to enter. Our staff wear face masks, and we require anyone entering the building to wear them as well.
-Online lessons are available. Most our our students are enjoying lessons from home via video calling. It's safe and comfortable!
-We sanitize lesson rooms and musical equipment between each lesson using disinfectants, and clean high touch surfaces such as pianos and doorknobs between each lesson. We have a touch-free hand sanitizing station as well.
-For piano and guitar lessons, the instructor and student each use a separate instrument and music stand to minimize the risk of spreading the virus.
-Our rooms are relatively small, but social distancing is possible and the rooms are well ventilated. We leave doors and windows open whenever possible to provide additional ventilation.
